Emphasis was placed more on the overall impact of a piece of furniture and less on what many modern cabinetmakers see as imperfections. Scribed layout lines are another example of 'blemishes' that were seemingly unimportant detractions in the grand scheme of things.

All blacked out that night the fire took place? But see at the foot of the same  photo? a wimdow can be seen? with fire behind the glass?which makes it  impossible  for the floor to still be inplace? On my return home after this upset, Kirklees Councel was soon on my Toes, to make the site safe? This is when I discoverd the remains of my upstairs cabinetshop Door? Timber Burn's at 375c. having learned this? I investigated further? to find out.  the  remains of my stair well?  The ends of 5 load bearing beams?are lost? (to bring down the floor) while 30ft away in the unburnt floor ? we find a 9" square hole through the plywood floor By the side of this hole?  is this pile of melted Glass?(my Plate Glass?Hum)  Note: 1450c to render Glass, Remembering Timber burns at  Note:375c. so how did this happen? Chief Inspector Gad Mc Manus? you explained to Barry Sheerman, MP: Note:No evidence pointed to an Arson attack? 1450c? from 375c fuel.
